3 times. Coachella 2014, and then San Diego in 2016 and 2017. I wonder what kind of venues they’ll play next tour. I was really happy that San Diego was a 5k cap compared to LA being 20k

 

Furthest I drove was only 2 hours but it was the night before college graduation so I didnt get back until mad late and I had to get up very early. Awful headache the entire day, never felt worse, but also very alive. Only seen them twice

 

I'm on 5 i believe. Lolla twice, Loufest, and two shows at the Aragon for ILWS tour.

 

I've seen them four times (five if you count the record store performance). All Portland except the most recent one last year, which was Seattle.

 

I've seen them 0 times but I should.

 

I was supposed to see them do an acoustic performance for a radio station- got to the hotel it was supposed to be at and they cancelled.

Were supposed to send autographed posters- never got mine, lol

 

I’m at 11, all during this last era. Really didn’t get into them until the promo period before ILIWYS came out but I fell hard and fast. Lots of “double nights” in certain cities and they’re a band that didn’t really switch things up night-to-Night (like they only change 1 song).

Out of all the bands I've seen live a handful of times, I cannot believe the meteoric rise in venue size over a handful of years for The 1975.

The Royale / Boston: 1,000 cap
House of Blues / Boston: 2,500 cap
Mohegan Sun / Connecticut: 10,000 cap
Madison Square Garden: 21,000 cap

Those bigger venues were almost entirely full as well.

Keep in mind this is a time span of four years from 2013-2017.

Still bummed we never got a proper headline tour for ILIWYS.
Also still pissed at that last show. Hadn’t heard of a show being there beforehand and haven’t heard of a show being there since. Most soulless, atmosphereless venue ever.

 

i saw them in a 150 cap in march 2013, matty seemed shocked when the whole venue started singing chocolate lol

also saw them in a 500 cap in june 2013, 750 cap in november 2013, 1200 cap in may 2014, 4000 cap november 2014. then a festival pavilion in like, mid 2016? each show started selling out earlier and earlier too

 

that was one of the first shows i saw where it was like a holy shit, this band knows they "made it" moment

I saw them 5 times in ilwys cycle! It was magical, never got old. I’ve seen them I think 9 times total

 

seeing a change of heart live the second time i saw them is what catapulted that song into running for their best ever. it translates the best live on the album imo.

i listen to live from the 02 almost as much as i listen to ILIWYS these days tbh

 

I’m pretty sure I mentioned it when I was at the Niagara Falls show I met a girl from Australia who had seen them 30 times. Big time goals.

The Change of Heart video is one of my all time favourites.

 

I need to see them. Gonna wreck me possibly

 

Saw them once and it wasn’t that good. They had MSG the next day and they were clearly saving their energy for it.

 

I've only seen them play an arena show. Best performance I've seen probably for the light show alone.
