Not saying he is a danger to his kids, but he's definitely a danger to himself. The whole world can tell him to get help but it won't hold any weight to him, unless he's being told to get help by the 3 people who love him unconditionally.

I don’t know anything about mental health. I’m not qualified to speak on it.

But if I’m on Kanye’s team I’m bringing in a couple of the best black college professors to teach American history.

I truly do not think there is anything wrong with Kanye's mental health. This is just what he believes in.

As disgusting as everything he's been saying is, can we please stop playing armchair therapist here?

I was making two separate points. I don’t know if there is anything wrong with him mentally. Not gonna diagnose. Not a doctor.

But he does need to take some classes on American History.

Let's not conflate mental health issues with being a shitty person.

Did you watch the full TMZ interview? He seems manic.

  9. I mean doesn't he say in one of those interviews that he's prescribed medication that he's not taking because it 'controls' him? It's bad to speculate on specifics, but if that's the case then it's pretty clear he's got some issues. But at the same time that doesn't exclude this from being actually what he believes

Oh yea that wasn't to you at all. It's more in response to people saying he needs to get help or be taken from his kids or whatever. I think people want something to be wrong with his mental health because then they can say "well that's the only reason he's saying all this". It's not. He's fine. He's just become a shitty person.

I'm just gonna go ahead and start reporting posts that bring up mental health until there's any statement from a doctor or something about Kanye

THIS. We aren't playing "armchair therapists." Real doctors already treated him, already diagnosed him. He's choosing to ignore them, and no one around him seems to care enough to get him the help the doctors say he needs.
Doesn't mean anything that Kanye says he's fine. Crazy people don't know they're crazy, they think they're getting saner.

It's funny how at this point people are seemingly equating aligning themselves with Trump and alt-right beliefs with being mentally deranged.

To be honest, it's not far off. Trump supporters are fucking dumdums.

By watching his interview and saying he seems manic and something's wrong you are playing armchair therapist though. Yeah he has doctors and has been treated. Let them take care of it.

But again maybe it's just me but I get deeply uncomfortable when people start having this mental health discussion as if they have any insight whatsoever into Kanye's mental health based on a couple interviews and tweets. Please cut it out.

But he admits that he's prescribed medication and refuses to take it. I'm not diagnosing him, a trained professional has already done that. I'm just saying he should listen to said professional.

    beautiful and chequered, the end

the way people go about commenting on others mental health/sanity makes me hella uncomfortable.

  21. Two things can be true here:

    1. I hope Kanye is listening to his doctors and doing what they think will make him healthier, be it medication, therapy, or whatever else. That’s not speculating about his mental state, it’s wishing someone good health.

    2. I think it’s inappropriate to speculate that he looks “manic” or suggest that he’s a danger to his family and needs his kids taken away for a while. That’s trying to diagnose him or assess his situation without knowing anything about him outside of his tweets, his songs, and his interviews, all of which are ostensibly marketing materials.

Jesus, people are bending over backwards to treat this idiot with kid gloves.

  23. Yeah reacting with anything other than concern to evident mental health issues is bad
