I’ve literally never heard of a band doing that. It would be absuuuuurd and make no sense at all. It would be just flat out dumb. They’re gonna so something big if there’s a month wait for it. And they’re clearly gonna keep teasing things up to that. They’re good at this. All these images and things working together and part of a theme.

I fondly remember listening to ILIWYS for the first time and coming back to this song first on second listen. Everything about it is absolutely gorgeous.

 

Also the Brief Inquiry poster specifically says MFC 2018-2019 at the top, so I don't see how there could be any doubt that MFC will be out this year. I interpret that to mean the MFC era will last from 2018 to 2019 (probably late 2019, if the last era is any indication).

 

The instrumental is just so soothing. I am so ready to drop countless paychecks on this era

 

Oh wait, I forgot I still haven't forgiven them for dropping This Must Be My Dream permanently from the setlist TWO NIGHTS before the first of 5 shows I saw on the fall tour last year.

 

I don't know If I've ever been this excited for an album to come out.

 

Paris is one of my favourite songs by these guys for sure, alongside Robbers, The Sound, Settle Down and Heart Out.

If they drop a single, I suspect it will be whilst I am working on Friday which is annoying.

 

I am so ready for this. Will be the longest 4 weeks ever though. Unless they start dripping music all through May.

 

God damn right it has.

 

This band is so fucking good at what they do and I don’t just mean the music — loving the vibe they’re going with here.

man, the self titled still goes hard. the first half is really good but Heart Out onward is untouchable.
