The imagery in that line gives me so many chills. Hayley's voice makes it even more surreal.

Fuck I love this band. I do believe we are upon the sixth anniversary of Ten Stories. Album has some of my fav mwY songs, and I would love a album tour in 2022!

I revisited B,S this past weekend. I still feel Catch is my personal favorite, but fuck if some of those songs don’t make me rock out. The rhythm section on that album is killer. Plus I always forget Jeremy from SDRE is on it.

 

Catch for us the foxes is more restrained than I want it to be but that just means it's really successful at what it does

 

Every time this thread gets bumped I'm hoping for an album announcement.

b/s has some of the most consistently groovy percussion sections ive ever heard.

 

I love all the guys, but musically, Rickie is the beating heart of this band and it simply wouldn't work with a "normal" drummer.

 

Their suggestion in interviews is a fall release so I'm guessing a lot is going on at the moment in terms of getting things ready. But as fall can be anything between September-November we might be waiting a while yet for definitive news. I could of course be completely wrong and they could announce it tomorrow for all I know, haha! Hopefully a teaser will come soon!

 

New mewithoutYou is pretty much the only thing that makes me excited to the point where I can physically feel anticipation and hype in my gut. It's the worst feeling up until they start to tease out news - then the relief, de-escalation and slow rebuild of it is a beautiful thing.

 

Totally agree. There are tons of bands that I love and get excited for new music and whatnot, but nothing like mewithoutYou.
