I am. I had a good chuckle at that.

 

In the comics, she is caught in the middle of an explosion caused by a Kree weapon and that's what gives her the powers that she has. She is also basically Goku in that her powers tend to increase when the story needs them to and now there is no known limit to how powerful she can get. The Marvel database lists her at class 100. While she can absorb energy she can't fully absorb magical energy, so she does have her (very few) limits.

 

I love jumping through time and space and dimensions. I also love Dragon Ball Z.

 

Does everybody assume that Korg is dead when Thanos attacked Thor's ship? I mean he is made of rock so maybe he can survive space and he's floating aimlessly. One can only hope.

 

I hope he made it out.

 

But the point remains that the overcrowding isn't an issue that needs the same solution on every planet. His solution is to just take a hammer to the problem. I'm willing to entertain the idea that his solution was actually the right thing for his home planet, but rather than showing his obsession consume him and cause him to try the same thing elsewhere where it wasn't even needed, they really didn't touch that aspect of things and were just like "Oh look his has somewhat noble intentions so is he really bad???"

We know half of the Asgardian refugees survived so hopefully that includes Valkyrie, Korg, and Miek.

 

Again, a very Marvel move. They weren't shown being killed, so they will most likely show up again. Probably toss in a line or two of dialog to explain how/why they made it out. Problem solved.

 

Seems pretty comic bookish to me in general. Just like every movie they've made. You have to suspend some disbelief

 

I just remembered that Feige said we haven't seen the last of Korg and Miek, so I guess they made it. Would love a Taika-directed "Revengers" movie with Valkyrie, Korg, Miek, Hulk, and Thor

 

Either I missed a line in the film that explains it or it's because I've only seen a handful of the MCU films, but I pretty much thought the infinity stones together could only be used as a weapon. So, the possibility/plot hole of using them to expand the universe or create more resources to live off of, etc didn't really occur to me until I read about it.

I'd love for them to do that, those characters seemed so good together in Ragnarok. There was no way enough of Miek in Ragnarok though, so I'd love for his character to be fleshed out more in the MCU, as he was so great in the Planet Hulk comic run. Plus Taika's Korg was so funny so I'd def be up for more of him in anything.

I assumed he went to a rebuilt Titan, but then again, Tony and Nebula were still there so I'm probably wrong now that I think about it.

 

Final trailer could come around or with Captain Marvel, but everything before that will certainly encourage people to believe they need to see Captain Marvel before the IW follow-up comes out. I'm not saying Captain Marvel is purely about money, but the close release dates is great positioning to launch her.
