Not a very good month for Games with Gold, is it?

 

Literally didn't win a single game last night. Killing it!

 

I'm actually pretty stoked just because I've wanted to play Xcom and super meat boy but yeah it could be seen as a bummer month.

 

Try to escort the payload against four Bastions camped at the finish, though?

Yo fuck that noise. I feel like there should be some sort of mode where there can only be one of each hero in play per side. That could make things interesting and maybe force some variety.

 

Yeah I'm actually really excited about Goat Simulator. I never got to play that dumb game when it came out and I felt like I was missing out.

 

I've only played one game of Overwatch due to being super busy and of course I try to play before work but the servers are all messed up.

 

It is a pretty ridiculous game and a REALLY easy completion, except for one achievement: FLAPPY GOAT!

 

The only real counters for Bastion are Tracer and Reaper (even then reaper seems like he'd have a harder time getting in with his slow mobility if the Bastion positions himself well). Genji reflecting is easy to see and Bastion would have to be braindead to kill himself off it. Sniping doesn't do much and if you don't take him down in one burst he can slink off and repair himself.

Mei's Ult is insidious and when the only counter for a character is 2 on 1 situations and being far away, that doesn't really seem like it lives up to being a counter.

 

Yeah I definitely won't mind all that extra gamerscore, that's for sure.

In that case I'd bring four Pharahs and rocket launch the shit out of all of them. I dunno, I feel like I played enough during the beta (not to mention an unhealthy amount last night) to realize that yes, stacking one hero will make you overpowered in that character's strengths, but leaves you that much more vulnerable to that character's weakness.

I mean, Reaper is also deadly in close range. Just switch to McCree or Soldier: 76 and gun them down from farther away.

And with regards to Bastion, also keep in mind that Roadhog's hook pulls him out of sentry mode, which is huge.

 

Finally downloading Overwatch. Excited to do nothing but play this for the next week.

Rapture is getting bigger, it may become unstoppable

 

Game is so out there but great. When you're Achievement/Trophy hunting I would use the double jump goat and angel goat. Makes it way easier to get a lot of the challenges done.

I actually had a friend who was really good at Flappy Bird play it. He got it beat in less than 10 minutes for me so Goat Simulator was my first Platinum Trophy on PS4

 

Why does my team on Overwatch not change characters when things don't work? Ugh

 

Just saw that Overwatch has now got micro transactions. Should've expected as much but that is pretty sickly for a full priced game. I don't feel that the "it's only cosmetic" rule applies here considering cosmetics are literally all you can unlock in the whole game. That really sucks.

 

I mean it looks like you can only buy chests that you get from leveling up, so not like you can't get all that stuff just by playing anyway. Plus all future maps and characters are free which I don't think is super common (outside of R6 Siege I can't think of any really).

 

I've got the new TMNT game waiting for me at home. I really REALLY love the art style and it looks so fun. Hopefully, it'll be the most fun TMNT game since Turtles in Time.

 

Why does it suck? Pay $2 for a random chance (since you can only buy boxes, not specific items) at getting a cool looking item. You're not the first person I've seen say this; I don't understand why this would bother anyone.
