Welcome to the Beta we've been talking about in here. Good luck, pretty regularly when someone gets added to the Beta it breaks the app and you have to talk to Customer Support a couple times to get it working again.

I haven't had a problem with it yet, I understand why they want to make sure people don't abuse the system but yea it's a nuisance

I mean, makes sense from an economic standpoint for the company to help keep them from going bankrupt.

But boo!!!! I had plans to see Avengers 4 days in a row!

Lol just be honest. I get why but still sucks. So much for seeing Infinity War all the times.

I need to stop complaining. This is still awesome and it was a really fun 6 months of just business jeopardizing movie watching.

Stub thing is annoying but understandable, and it’s hard to complain about something that’s been so good to us, but the updated terms with only one viewing per movie are definitely a bummer and don’t make me feel very safe about the offering I payed for going forward.

As long as they don't jack up the price per month or limit the number of movies I'm seeing, I've got no problem doing the stub thing.

True. It does suck, but at least its blockbuster season and youll have more options until like August.

Short of not being able to see new movies I can't think of any restrictions they can add that would be a deal breaker for me, this is an insane service and whatever they need to do within reason I understand

True and I think the business staying afloat so we can enjoy the service is more important than anything else

Honestly this is the best way to look at it. Looking at FSR’s summer movie preview there are at least 20-30 movies I wanna see between now and August, and 10 bucks a month still sounds more viable than 20-30 tickets individually. I just hope the quick changes are proactive ways to stay afloat instead of the beginning of the end. This makes me extremely anxious to see what the rumored subscription Alamo drafthouse supposedly is working on.

At this point I love MoviePass so much and I don't ever want to live without it and I totally get the financial reason but if I was a new subscriber this would be a dealbreaker. I'm really bummed, I've done so many rewatches and had many more planned. I was gonna rewatch Lean On Pete tonight and now idk. Suuuuuucks.

The theatre I go to is usually a ghost town in the middle of the week. I’ll probably be checking into another movie and then walking into a half-empty room to see Infinity War multiple times. I don’t think it’s a coincidence that they re-instated the “each movie one time” rule as the record-breaking Avengers film was being released. This is the kind of movie that many people will see 5+ times on MP.

Finally there's a benefit for non-reserved seating theaters, I'm probably gonna do this later this week

I haven't seen a movie multiple times in theaters possibly since I saw Wedding Crashers, I agree that it was lame that they sprung it on people without warning or transparency

I know a lot of people do that though

Mine is reserved seating but with a half-empty room on weekdays, it's fairly easy to find an open section. I could see it being more difficult to pull off during peak times when all the good seats end up being reserved. My theater is very relaxed though, and they seem genuinely happy that I'm there so often. MP is keeping a lot of places afloat right now.

I wonder if the Infinity War rewatches would’ve broke this company lol. I certainly would’ve seen it a ton
