Unfortunately, they don't do reserved seating at The Grand theater here. I really wish they would.

 

Few years ago my friend snuck in some Del Taco including two churros. He had one in each sleeve of his sweater so he just walked in all straight armed like a robot.

Anyways, I'm Star Wars-level hyped for tonight.

 

My wife put my food and large baja blast in her giant purse one time. It was great. Probably gonna sneak a flask in tonight to be honest. Wife and I haven't gotten to really do anything in a long time since we have a two year old and don't really have the funds to pay a babysitter. We are beyond stoked to just get to be adults and go on a date and it doesn't hurt that we are getting to see Infinity War as a part of said date night.

 

Damn, I was so happy when they brought reserved seating here in the UK. Hopefully you get there early enough and can find a good seat. This thread is gonna blow so much this weekend.

 

All the theatres around me do reserved seating for every showtime for every movie. I have Marcus and amc by me

 

I guess for such a big movie it SHOULD just be standard. Guess it's not the case everywhere.

 

Well, my day just keeps getting better. Some guy at my part time job just texted me and he knew about the situation that we were gonna pretty much be getting there right when the movie started so he's saving us seats since he is getting there super early.

It's been a good day today, caught a Larvitar, Moltres, and 2 Feebas in Pokemon go (yeah I still play) while listening to the new Fantasy Footballers podcast before work, my students actually worked today and did what they were supposed to do, got all caught up on my grading, pretty sure I'm going to have a good seat at the movies, and I'm 6 hours and 6 minutes away from seeing a movie I've been waiting for a long time to see. I'm just waiting for something bad to happen (wish I just had it in me to be optimistic).

Edit: And the NFL draft is tonight.

 

That's pretty awesome! Does your theatre do anything for the movie? Ours had Deadpool cups but NO Infinity War merch which suuuuucked.

I gave up on Pokémon Go when I moved jobs. Wish I had it in me to play more but I bought Final Fantasy XV and God of War and y'know...

I certainly will. As far as I can tell they are giving out the nice IMax posters they give out for the Thursday showings. I'm really hoping that they have the bucket and cups because I'll buy them both. It's funny because you can probably tell by walking around my house and my "home decor" when we had the kid because it's pretty much when we stopped going to the movies. We use the buckets and cups for random things in our house and kitchen and I think the newest one I have at this point is the bucket for Jurassic World lol.

 

That's cool, I only got a few Civil War posters when they came out but our cinemas suck and I got nothing at any other screening. You'd think with such a big event that there would be something but nah.

They showed Jurassic World, Solo, Deadpool 2 and maybe another trailer before also. I'm actually pretty excited for everyone to see it too haha.

 

Gonna hold off for a while on this one. I can't do crowds anymore and I already spoiled it for myself.

 

This will be my first IMAX experience outside of documentaries. The moon throw should be exciting.

 

Seeing this tomorrow. Gonna be a nice end of the semester treat

 

Just got even more hyped at the prospect of seeing all of these trailers in IMax as well.

My theater is fucking packed. Way more packed than recent blockbusters

 

About to head to the theater now, I'm so fucking excited.

 

wanted to grab a 7pm ticket but wasn't sure I could make it to the theater in time from work to grab a seat/drink/etc, so 10:45 it is

 

I got a great parking spot and the theater isn't really packed at all, surprising.

There’s already over 1000 showtimes world wide sold out and this number is from a couple days ago and with an estimated 230 million opening many many many shows will be at capacity in the us this entire weekend. There’s even showtimes next week on Tuesday at theatres by me already sold out
