I tried sneaking two Taco Bell burritos in a beanie before but a cop become suspicious that I was carrying a beanie and not wearing it so he “ordered” me to show him what was inside. I was casual with it and just said I wanted a snack before the movie starts and he was trying to kick me out of the theater until the manager walked over to us. Lol

    Rent-a-cops are silly.

Employees usually couldn’t care less. It doesn’t change their paycheck if I bring in a snack and a small bottle of water.

No doubt, this was the best Marvel movie I've seen. Thanos was handled fantastically. He was brutal, menacing and even had a heart. The visuals were also incredible and the cameos; whom I will not mention, were also placed great. Nothing felt shoe-horned in and I actually forgot that this film was over 2 hours.

It was entertaining, gut-wrenching and made a fan-boy like myself proud to have been a part of this for so long. Have now also booked for tomorrow night to see with family, too.

And wow, it was so hard to write how I felt without posting spoilers. This was such a cosmic, fantasy ride and the story-telling was to the point.

I'm having an absolutely wretched day at work and might take a mental health day tomorrow. If I do, I am definitely going to MoviePass this at like, an 11AM showing.

I actually feel for everyone that is having to wait until the weekend. There were moments in this film that usually fans would applaud but by the end of it everyone was so shocked and in awe that the whole theatre sat silent.

An old friend of mine once snuck an entire Bowsers (local place like Primanti's, but w/ bigger sandwiches) Pittsburgh-style sandwich into the theater.

Like, he just had this huge buffalo chicken sandwich loaded with fries, slaw, and whatever sauces on his lap in a Cinemark theater.

My wildest was bringing in a Chinese food lunch special into the theater with me.

My buddy brings ridiculous stuff every time. Various chopped fruit in Tupperware containers, weed vape pen, various fast food etc

I side eye people who bring meals into a theater, pls nothing smelly. Also, not many people venture into the print thread but Olly Moss is putting up some Avengers 5x5’s for the next 48 hrs. Getting Black Panther and Cap I think. Super cute.

I bring my oil pen in pretty regularly. As long as you're not blowing plumes like a vape bro, it's relatively unnoticeable.

I am beyond stoked to see this tonight. I'm having a hard time working because I am so excited. only 7 hours and 46 minutes until I see this in Imax.

IMax is a good choice. I managed to catch it last night and you can see the difference between the imax camera shootings.

Yeah after reading that it was entirely shot using IMax cameras I knew that was the way I needed to watch it. Only thing that sucks is the wife and I have to wait for the babysitter who can't get there until 7 and the theater is 30 minutes away. So, I'm fairly sure we are gonna have some pretty garbage seats. (I'm just really glad the showing is not in 3d. I just can't do it anymore. Hurts my eyes and I get sweaty and have to keep taking the glasses off to wipe them)

I saw it in IMAX 3D and I definitely wish it was just IMAX. Seeing it non 3D at a normal theater tonight.

You seeing it at an IMAX in Massachusetts? (broad assumption based off avatar)

Not reserved seating? The cinema here in Glasgow was sold out and a couple turned up at 11:50 to buy 2 tickets and had to be turned away. I wouldn't want that to happen. I seen it in 3D since that was the only option available and agree that it hurts the eyes. Seeing it in normal 2D tomorrow too.

My theater has 10 showing tonight from 7pm through 11:30pm. I'm going to the 6th one (which is also the 2nd of 3 3d showings).

I feel pretty good about showing up no more than 45min before showtime and getting a good seat, lol.

7:30pm this evening! So happy to have reserved seats (even though my seat isn't that great) but super excited

Tonight will actually be the first time in a while I wont have reserved seating. Not really sure how early I should get there. I've already seen it, so it's not the worst if I don't get a great seat, but I still want a good one.
