Some pretty outstanding matchups in the 2nd round.

The only team I’d care about advancing is Washington for the sake of Ovi, but we all know how that will turn out.

Vegas (7) - does the magic continue? Why not?
Winnipeg (7) - not convinced by Nashville’s performance in round 1. WPG looked already to be at the level they’ll to be against Nashville
Boston (7) - Some pretty iffy goaltending for this matchup. Honestly a toss up
Washington (7) - Wash needs to steal a game with Malkin out of the lineup. If they can do that I like their chances

 

just don't want to see Pittsburgh win again

anyone else can win and I'd be cool

pretty neat that none of the Western teams left have won a Cup

I'm literally the only person I know who loves the current playoff format. I love how everyone assumes after this round that the series will be lopsided, as if Washington, Pittsburgh (the two time defending champion), Vegas, and San Jose are awful teams. I love having to battle through your division to get to the finals. But I guess I'm in the minority on that one haha
