Losses don't hurt initially but if they get to ziggler/ambrose level it can have a real effect. We're seeing it now.

We're not there yet but it would be nice to give styles a major win soon

But I'm still sticking to my tna/wcw theory

Well, the garbage Lana angle killed Ziggler, since that feud died with no ending. And Dean still got over Jericho twice, including his own match style.

If gallows/anderson attack him in that match, it kills a slow build of that storyline. How can it be Finn behind it all if they attack him 10mins after he bails on them?

WWE's handled him well since he arrived. They're not just gonna bury him now.

 

Bray better be in the fucking MITB match

Cena's taking that last MITB spot. Get ready for SuperCena vs. SuperReigns

 

Cena does NOT need a mitb. If he's in the match there's no chance he wins.

 

Not saying he will, but I wonder what direction they're gonna go for SummerSlam. Reigns/Cena isn't out of the realm of possibility... especially if they do go with Rollins/HHH

 

Owens winning makes sense when you think of the storylines. He gets to continue his feud with Zayn. If AJ wins you have AJ in the ladder match but building a feud with people that aren't in the match. It'd be hard to juggle. A distraction win for Owens would've been bad for him considering he's had his share of losses recently as well.

The match made both guys look strong and made since what they're building up.

 

Rollins will start getting mad at Trips when he loses to Super Reigns and The Authority isn't there to help him. He was already blown off by Steph. He will eventually start saying they abandoned him.

 

If you haven't, find their three matches they had against one another in NXT. All of them are fantastic.

 

Probably makes the most sense. Unless Ambrose wins MITB, and then we are 100% getting a Shield cash-in.

I hadnt gone back that far in NXT, but yeah, if those are the spots they are hitting, I'm down.

 

Okay I was on the fence but now I lover Jericho. That's all it took haha

 

I haven't watched them yet, but just the sequences the two of them had in the ring last night has me super excited to see more of these two in action. Even moreso than anything I've seen from Zayn/Owens and Zayn/Nakamura there was just a beautiful fluidity to watching Sami and Cesaro work together.

Definitely gonna go back and watch their NXT matches once I finish slogging through all the royal rumbles.

 

oh and obvi i'm very pleased with the charlotte/ric split finally happening. bring on the nuclear heat!!

 

Seth is a good heel, and his promo perfectly explained why he should still be a heel.
Right though creative is stupid because it's not what you want so they stink.

 

Your WCW /TNA theory is kind of silly, just for the fact that they are paying him an insane amount of money. They are slowly building something up. If they are slowly building something up it better pay off very very soon .

They gotta be building to an AJ vs Finn at Summerslam

 

I admit I didn't listen to the promo (yet), but I'm not really sure I have to. The main event has been generally hot garbage since Survivor Series. That's almost 8 months of soul-draining nonsense. At some point I just want to be able to cheer for the guy I like.

 

Maybe it doesn't mean anything but the way they cut to the ramp to show AJ after he lost last night, could that be a sign that he could still get in the ladder match ?

 

Wouldnt surprise me if they debut Finn as AJ's partner after Takeover. Build the Japan connection, then have Finn turn on AJ at MITB or sometime after.

Since it worked incredibly well to have a vet (Jericho) introduce a new face, and once the crowd was invested, the turn had an even better payoff.

 

Shit, that would work so well. Need to build a G&A/AJ feud in the meantime though which could be pretty entertaining. G&A vs AJ & Finn at MITB would be a killer match, even if it ends up with Finn turning on AJ in the end.

 

Just watched Mick Foley and Shane.

Not amazing and I'm not sure how much of it can be taken seriously but had a little laugh when Mick asked him what his relationship with HHH is like.

"My relationship with Paul? He makes my sister happy and I'm happy he does that," with a sly smirk.
