why is throwing an axe so satisfying?

 

The vibration when it returns is so awesome. My favorite thing is to throw it at someone, spring at them, aim and then hit R2 and do the big recall/slam all in one. I think its a Level 5 skill. So great.

 

I'm pretty bad at CQC so I just run away and throw the axe a lot.

 

My biggest complaint about the GoW combat is that you can't sprint and recall the axe without at least a small delay/pause. Even when you unlock the skill that lets you do a recall-and-attack all at once, you still lose the momentum of your sprint because you have to press L2 to do it. I wanted to be able to chuck the axe at someone, sprint at them, and then recall it before launching into a cool attack all at once and you can't really do that without some awkwardness.

Was Beyond actually any good?

 

There are four of them on Switch, just got the first pack this week and it's a blast

 

It was decent. Heavy Rain was way better though.

 

Another solid month for Plus, really excited to play Rayman at last.

 

3 is the best pack IMO

 

all I remember was playing this lie swatter game and it was pretty fun. I'll have to pick them up myself.

 

Beyond was good. The game went in many different directions so some of the episodes/levels weren’t as strong as they could have been.

 

If you thought lie swatter was fun you’re gonna adore these games lol

 

That has what is basically an update on the OG quiz show game right? We love trivia and were bummed to see there were only 50 eps of You Don't Know Jack to play through so I'll probably have to get that

 

3 has trivia murder party which is a trivia game show yeah

 

Quiplash is amazing but I think Fakin’ It is the best game they’ve ever made.

 

I'm so excited for State of Decay 2. This is the first time in maybe 10 years that I've found a consistent group of friends to play with online.
