Seattle Seahawks select Chris Herndon, TE, Miami

Seattle needed to find some help for Wilson and that was the goal of this draft. Guice in the first round was a good start. Then I was able to acquire La’el Collins and Dante Pettis in the Earl Thomas trade. Now Seattle adds Chris Herndon, an underrated talented out of Miami, who are known for producing some very good TEs. Herndon started out mainly as a blocking TE in a backup role. This past season, before an injury, he showed off his talents as a pass catcher. Herndon is a very well rounded player with tons of potential. He will likely sit behind Ed Dickson for a year or two before taking over as the starter.

Pure BPA pick. More pass rushers the better. Adding Landry + Okoronkwo while already having Arik, DeFo, and Solo to push inside will give the 49ers a dynamic pass rush.
