Browns definitely gonna Brown if they draft Mayfield at 1

 

Better than Allen.

 

Mayfield would be like if contest winners wanted a bronze medal instead of a gold one.

Taking Allen when you have pick 1 is like when you make food, don't actually eat it fresh, and it starts to go bad but you try to eat around the moldy bits anyway

 

Barkley 1st, trade down at 4, take Lamar Jackson.

 

I think Barkley is def out of the running at first overall. Unless everything has been a giant smokescreen until this point.

 

Oh yeah he's out of the running. It'll probably be something dumb instead of Sam Darnold like it should be.

Haha sounds good. There is a lot of bitterness amongst some Seahawks fans that we turned mediocre so bad but that’s how this league works unless you’re the Patriots I guess. The 12s probably will still think we are great this year until we start like 3-5 haha

 

There's a wide range in Cleveland right now. It could be completely encouraging or there could be mass sadness all at once due to bad Browns picks and Cavs being eliminated in the 1st round within 24 hours. Scary week ahead.

 

I think the fact of the matter is no one knows what John Dorsey is really doing besides John Dorsey. And I love it.

I just thought of something: Baker Mayfield at 1; Barkley at 4.

I know it won't happen, and I don't really want it to happen (prefer Chubb)... But DAMN. That offense would be exciting.

 

100% agree with you. During the infamous Vikes/Seahawks playoff game a few years ago, I went to a local sports bar with my friend who is a diehard Vikings fan. He was wearing an AP jersey and I was in street clothes, just there for moral support.

When Kyle Rudolph made that sideline catch and turned upfield and ran another 10-15 yards or so we cheered loudly and some guy turned to us and yelled "Shut up!!" I was just like "Hey man, everyone is allowed to root for their team!" When they got in field goal range someone loudly said "I say we jump the Vikings fans if they make it!"

I turned to my friend and said "No matter what happens on this field goal, we turn and leave immediately after the play is over." We all know what happened next. My friend stared dumbfounded at the screen while I tugged on his arm to get us out of there. Many jeers were thrown our way on the way out.

Man I'm sad now. Fucking Blair Walsh. At least he burned Seattle last year.

 

I hope the browns take Mayfield at 1, prove you haters wrong, goes 16-0 and starts an era of afc north domination.

 

Best part of that is when Browns fire Hue Jackson after that for having a 32-32 record in the last two seasons.

 

Without Jimmy G standing in line I do think once Brady retires they'll come down to Earth (which now seems sooner than the 5 year window he gave us). If BB is still there for a few more seaons and he can draft/develop a decent QB they'll stay afloat, but man getting the right QB is tough. Once it becomes McDaniels/QB I could see the success blowing up.

 

He’d be 17-31 in that scenario.

 

@Fucking Dustin remember when the Draft was in Philly and we would post about practicing for it on Facebook and would just comment 'Boooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo' a million times?
