Some Will Seek Forgiveness, Others Escape - as much as I like 10 friends, this song is great. Love Aaron Marsh’s guest vocals and the end with the screaming.

I Don’t Feel Very Receptive Today - actually one of my favourites from the album. Edit: just realised I was thinking of “I’m Content With Losing”, haha. Bad mistake but doesn’t look like it’ll change things. Stupid longish song titles!

The Impact Of Reason - I like the way The Blue Note goes into Dangerous Business but there’s no way I can vote for it over a proper song!

Hahaha. Impact is one of a few really dull tracks on this record imo, just nothing special about it. Feels like it just plods along until it’s over, like a bunch of pretty mediocre parts loosely strung together without a direction.

The Blue Note obviously doesn’t hold a candle to the best cuts from TOCS but I’ve always thought it had a really cool atmosphere and I wish they had expanded on it more in a live setting at some point. The breezy, sorta jazzy drums going on are really cool too. If it had been up against any of the tracks I actually like from this record though, then yeah, it probably wouldn’t have stood a chance.

The Impact Of Reason

I think my enjoyment of this album isn’t derived from nostalgia as much as it seems to be for a lot of people, but when the nostalgic vibes hit it’s really intense. Boy brushed red and understanding in a car crash were the big 2 that got me into screaming.
