The Los Angeles Rams select Kemoko Turay, EDGE, Rutgers

Low floor but high potential, NFL comparison listed as Yannick Ngakoue. I think it works. But really it's a crapshoot because who the fuck am I?

Carolina Panthers select Parry Nickerson, CB, Tulane



A cornerback with 16 interceptions, 188 tackles and a 4.32 40-yard dash typically sits comfortably as a first or second round pick. For some reason Nickerson is still projected as a mid-round prospect. His main knock is being slightly undersized but he makes up for that with his speed and ability to read the quarterback. As stated in the last pick, the Panthers need all the help they can get in the secondary. Nickerson is well worth the risk at this point in the draft.

I really don't like any of the WR left for the Bills so I guess I'll go in a different direction. The Buffalo Bills select Harrison Phillips, DT, Stanford.

Tons of holes on this roster especially at the depth spots. I see a lot of Kyle Williams in Phillips and think he could be a good replacement there.

One of 'my guys.' Underrated corner with good size, quickness, and great technique. Doesn't quite have the long speed, but that's not a big deal in the 49ers scheme. Also brings great value as a special teams contributor.

As I have thought about it more I bet that Sean McDermott really loves Phillips. Aside from the similarities to Kyle Williams, he has the wrestling background too. Just really seems like a process guy.

Los Angeles Chargers select Marcus Allen, S, Penn State



The Chargers are actually kind of stacked now with this pick. Their problem over the last few seasons has been injuries. If they have a healthy season, I do believe they're a legitimate contender with Phillip Rivers leading that young and talented offense. Okung/Barksdale isn't a great duo to move forward with at tackle but they're good enough to where I feel comfortable passing on tackles in the draft. Allen is a Gus Bradley safety. He'll likely be tasked with a lot of special teams work early on, which he should excel at. But Adrian Phillips is on a one year deal and they have an out with Jahleel Addae after this season.
