probably my least favorite thing on the album haha. The chord there is just so ugly to me but I definitely respect the explosiveness of the part.

Not a bad guess. Username's Welsh (last native Prince of Wales). I've a good deal of Scottish & Irish ancestry, and I've always been drawn to the culture and music. I'm American, but I did a study abroad in Wales a few years back, and I've loved my short trips through Scotland and Ireland and plan on moving to the UK within the next few years.

 

i love the quiet ugly dirtiness of the chords right there. it makes the next part feel even more explosive and clear. it wouldn't feel the same otherwise.

 

Man...I really thought we could be friends...

Haha real talk though...that is my favorite part on the entire album!

Enema: It's down to the bridge + last chorus of Adam's song (talk about explosive) or the last chorus of Going away to college. Can't choose one!

Dude Ranch: The opening riff of Pathetic

Cheshire: The bass riff of carousel.

 

Much respect for The Corrs...a lot of talent in that family.

Finally someone agrees with me on this. This is exactly how I have always felt about that song, but everyone else seems to love it. Haha.

TOYPAJ: The massive explosion in Everytime I Look For You (2:00)

Enema: Dumpweed in general. It's not my favorite song on the album, but from the second the song chimes in you know you're in for a really fun fucking ride.

Dude Ranch: Waggy. The whole song is solid enough, but that last minute is euphoric.

Cheshire Cat: Carousel's intro.

The last minute or so of Adam's Song and the synth transition into ATST.

Violence bridge through the interlude and into SS

 

I really love the transition from "Easy Target" into "All of This", and then Robert Smith's feature complimented by Mark and Tom's harmonies on the song. I love that song a lot.

 

Dude Ranch: Either the harmonies and back and forth on Emo or the back and forth in Pathetic.

Enema: The guitar in the first half of the verses in Mutt. Weirdly specific and it's like 3 notes but it just sounds so good!

TOYPAJ: Maybe the opening to Anthem Part 2 just for the nostalgia of how fucking excited I was the first time i pressed play on the CD and heard the riffs just building up. "Everything has fallen to pieces" might also be the best opening line they have if you want to start ANOTHER debate haha.

Untitled: Mark's shouty part just after "you're too late...." on Stockholm Syndrome

Neighborhoods: not sure, maybe beginning of Ghost on the Dancefloor because of all the hype that album had

 

I know it's already been discussed and that there's been some disagreement over this subject a few hours ago, but I had to ask a few questions on the blink-182 vs. Green Day thing:

- How do you think each band feels in relation to one another after and during Pop Disaster Tour? And do you think that line up might ever happen again (Let's take that Desert Trip festival in consideration when we think of bands touring together after a long time apart)?

- In the very impossible scenario where Billie Joe was the one announced as Tom's replacement instead of Skiba, how do you think people/fans would react?

 

Well there was some kind of animosity from Tre towards the band. Who knows how real that was or if there's any lingering issues.

I got excited for a new single til I read the caption lol. Still like the cropped version better for the album though.
