Got my GoW PS4 Pro tonight. Exploring the OS while GoW installs and my first question is........ have they not added a single new avatar since the PS3 days like 2008?! Ridiculous.

 

God of War so far really feels like something special. About two hours in tonight.

 

Excited to try GoW tomorrow. Hoping it's delivered at a decent time so I can play a couple hours before getting on a flight. Then I can't play until next week. :(

 

Only a couple hours in but God of War has been wonderful.

Ugh. I still haven’t beaten Far Cry 5, or Shadow of the Colossus. Tho I know I’m gonna be starting GoW sometime this weekend. Plus the new event in MHW.

 

When I played Shadow, I didn't just grind through it. I was playing a few games at once so I would go back here and there and take down 1 at a time then play something else. Felt like it was a good change of pace type game.

Just beat FC a few days ago so Im ready for GOW!

 

I'm about half way through Far Cry 5, man is the game a blast.

But for the first time ever, I feel like muting the game because holy shit are the characters awful to listen to while playing.

 

Prolly gonna have enough time to get like mayyybe 1 hour in today grrr

 

Yeah I felt the same way a few times. Only real complaints were exactly what you just said and I felt like you couldn't just explore (hunt, fish, wander) without getting attacked!

 

God of War is gooood

 

Yeah, I was frustrated about not being "left alone" by enemies but once I got my weapons upgrades I just tear through them.

Having Hurk say "fuck" ever other word is driving me nuts. Makes me use the characters for achievements and drop them as soon as it unlocks.

 

Get yakuza 0. Kiwami is also good but 0 is absolutely fantastic. It's not as streamlined as 6 with regards to going indoors and stuff. The game loads when going in but I think it's a better game.

 

I have an incredible workload this weekend but I want to blow everything off and play God of War instead.

 

Got through the first big fight in GoW last night. Man, that was great.

 

So I sprained my thumb a day or two ago, apparently. Woke up this morning barely able to move it, swelling, and plenty of pain.

Then my Collector’s Edition of God of War arrived and now...

Kevin am sad.

I'm definitely looking forward to new God of War but it'll likely be years before I actually get it lol

 

Is Far Cry 5 fairly easy? Especially for somebody who's terrible/new to shooters?

 

I thought it was pretty easy but my roommate who is honestly just not good at video games in general is well, he's struggling.

I think you'll be fine though.

 

I'm great at TellTale type games! Hah!

 

Man I've never played any of the games but just watched reviews on 6 and 0. Just picked up GOW and now I really want Yakuza!

 

Signed up for Giant Bomb Premium, 10 minutes in this is one of the best purchasing decisions I’ve made.

 

Got home from work and first thing I did was put God of War in so it could install the disc and download the 7GB worth of day one patches so I'd be ready to play tonight.

Just came back upstairs 4 hours later to find that the downloads had somehow stopped and cancelled themselves. Absolutely fuming. Been looking forward to this moment all week. Now I'm sat for an hour or more whilst they download.
