    If Kanye is actually putting an album out on the 1st June (although 8th sounds more likely) do you think The 1975 would go head to head or abandon? Just seems like album release suicide going on the same day.

    I don’t see them changing it. It’s an important date for them and their fanbase doesn’t overlap THAT much, plus people can listen to multiple albums in a day.

    I’m leaning more towards the idea that we’ll only get an official announcement and single on the first with the album out late summer. Otherwise we’d have gotten something by now (this is a band that dropped love me 5 months before ILIWYS). I also can’t imagine a June release if they have no plans to tour until October....even if they want this to be their biggest tour w/ extra lead time for ticket sales
