Pretty good day for Australian music! Some records that people here will enjoy:

Stonefield (psychedelic rock band formed by four sisters, new album delivers on the riffs!)
Confidence Man (electronic, dance, pop)
The Hard Aches (punk rock band, new album has features from Camp Cope's Georgia Maq, Jeff Rosenstock, and The Bennies' Craig Selak)

 

Listened to the new nothing,nowhere and disliked it about as much as the first. So bland. Still, glad to see he's not wishing death upon his ex anymore. I guess that's a step up? Pretty low bar.

On the other hand, that The Reign of Kindo record was insane. Probably won't come back to it much because it's not really my style, but what a cool, interesting listen. They have a ton of talent.

One other thing I'll throw out there: the singer of This Providence just released an LP of fun, chill pop songs under the name Lonely Benson. It's a really breezy, enjoyable listen. Plus it's nice to hear his voice again!

still the first new music from them in 12 years. i'll take what i can get. *shrug*

they supposedly do have a full-length coming out this year tho.
