Think the new track is a bit clunky lyrically but there's so much cool stuff in there that it doesn't detract too much

 

Awkward Breeds & Weight Of Air are all timers for me

 

This band is really really great and I like both these tracks a lot.

Forever wishing “DMT” returned to its 7/4 intro tho, they could’ve come back to it after that first chorus...

 

Song is great btw

The Pittsburgh line is so fucking specific to my personal situation rn it's ridiculous

You know what, I think I saw so many people talking about it that I didn’t assume they were all reviewers. Never mind, carry on lol

 

Felt a weird swell of pride at the Pittsburgh line being that I’ve lived here for less than a year.

 

Really, really listened to both of the tracks last night and man they're beautiful.

 

Never really liked any of their previous work but these 2 songs have me extremely hyped for this album. The bright chords, lyrics, and melodies bring me right in the middle of Spring driving with the windows down.

 

You should give Runners in the Nerved World another try! It's my go-to Spring weather album

 

I'll give it another shot before this comes out haha

 

Currently listening to Awkward Breeds for the first time. It's delightful

edit: somewhat disappointed that "Diamond Eyes" isn't a Deftones cover though

I can't tell if it's just the headspace I'm in, but there are some moments on Awkward Breeds that remind me of Blue/Pinkerton-era Weezer

When AB dropped they definitely got a lot of the Weezer comparisons
