Underoath - Erase Me (April 6, 2018) Album • Page 147

  1. Should be good enough for around 4 on the charts. From a band that hasn't been around for quite awhile and in this day and age? Yeah, I think it's pretty good. (Looks like it outsold The Wonder Years.)

Nice! Good for them. They are definitely roping in some new fans, and I am sure it will only grow as they continue to release music.

^That was a joke from Mark McGrath's textbook about the Gin Blossoms on the nostalgiac 90's tour they went on.

Lurking AP since 2005. Lurking Chorus since 2016.

were the wonder years selling the record with tickets to shows? I'd be interested to see how much that bloated the numbers.

I imagine there’s probably a large group of people like me that would’ve bought it if the ticket hadn’t come with the download that would’ve made sales similar.

  7. Dunno but I haven’t seen a record not sold with tickets in a long time.

I bought a ticket and did not receive a copy, so no.

Man I did a total 180 on this album after about 2 listens. I've been playing nothing but erase me all week! Favorites are lonliness obviously, and the trifecta of hold your breath, no frame, in motion. The back of this album is amazing.

The amount of people citing Loneliness as a clear, obvious standout just depresses me at how easily the problems with this album could have been fixed

I love Loneliness and all, but I don't understand how it is leagues better than anything on this album. It is just as strong.

So yeah I’m having this stuck in my head a lot.

I’m officially pleased with this release

Might have to make the trip to Target and pick up the special edition cd next week. It's like an hour away and I've been lazy haha.

I don't think it is either, just seems to be a very common favourite. I'd put it on the level with the Breath/Frame/Motion trifecta, which are all the clear standouts for me. Either way leaving off Loneliness was pretty shit

  16. .. just put it on we live in a digital age

I did that. Pretty much the second I heard it actually. Doesn't change the fact that leaving off a very strong song affects the quality of an album, though

*shrug* Bands leave strong songs off albums all the time. It's a sad truth that there are a lot of great b-sides out there that are way too strong to be as overlooked as they are (*stares angrily at 'Let Go Control' by Saosin*) . They probably had their reasons for leaving it off. At least it got released in some capacity so that we can hear and enjoy it!

Common Existence title track is one of the best Thursday songs of all time. Prob wouldn't have fit on that album but god damn is that shit good

And everyone knows my absolute favorite Circa Survive song is Lazarus, not sure how that would've slotted into BSN tho. Anyway point is bsides are dope. Disintegration by JEW, and more recently My Enemy, List of People by Tame Impala, also Led Zeppelin which they ended up slotting into the proper track list on the Lonerism reissue which is cool. That's a top five Tame song for me

I know that they would have made the album more cumbersome, but I'm still sour that "Flags of Dawn" and "Weight of Glory" didn't make Vheissu. hahaha.

Couldn't believe they played Red Telephone last tour

Definitely would have put Red Telephone instead of Talking Through Glass and Flags of Dawn instead of Music Box, lmao. what can you do

Common Existence, Fake Nostalgia and The Worst Vox are fucking fantastic. Absolutely could have made it on there. Same with that City By The Light japan bonus
