I keep meaning to go make to that Nipsey album more, but I keep being overwhelmed by new music.

 

Sorry for live posting about this Cardi album but I'm pretty sure Kehlani is a higher being

 

Same. I haven't even listened to it once yet and I love that single.

 

I'm also just bad about listening to new music efficiently, like I just listened to that Cardi x Kehlani song like 5 times. I could have listened to one half of an album I haven't heard yet, haha.

 

I still have like 50 albums from 2017 that I was hoping to listen to before the end of the year. Things get out of control, especially when you listen to as many podcasts as I do.

 

Podcasts are definitely the problem here too haha. I listened to the Cardi album just now because I was listening to a podcast about the Cardi album (which I was meaning to get to but of course hadn't) and I thought to myself this can't be life, so I paused the podcast and opened Spotify, haha.

 

The Kehlani song was actually one of the two songs I didn't really like on the Cardi album haha. The worst song is easily the YG one though

I haven't seen anyone say this yet but I feel like the beats of Bickenhead and Drip sound like they could have been made like 13 years ago in Atlanta and I mean that in a good way

I am just here to say that PROM/KING by Saba may be my favorite rap record this year and makes me cry every single time.

 

I don't know where to put this but local radios like to do those Saturday party jams.

I was like ok cool this should be dope. The first song they play after saying SATURDAY PARTY NIGHT SONGS is Logic's song the 1-800 one and I was just like ????

Check Mm... Food and Danger Doom. Also check King Gheedorah, a little weirder but still great. I love most of his stuff tbh, he is incredible

 

I’ve been delving back into hip-hop a lot lately, and my friend sent me this randomly yesterday. I love the whole album, and that song is definitely a standout. Definitely one of my favorite records of the year so far.
