It’s so hard at the beginning but also so immersive and so addicting.

 

I'm slow travelling everywhere due to being just completely in awe of the sheer magnitude of the world they've created, I've never felt anything quite like it

Is there somewhere I can buy weapons or increase my inventory though? Just ran into a monster and had to try fight him with a Korok leaf lol

 

Are you out of the great plateau yet? You’ll run into someone the lets you increase inventory in your way to one of the first towns you’ll go to in the game.

Also, the feeling of taking forever to get somewhere because of getting sidetracked won’t go away in the first like 75 hours at least of playing the game haha

 

that is great news, I ran into that NPC and didn't have any korok seeds and having some trouble finding them but gonna re-trace my steps haha, thanks!

 

Don’t worry too much about retracing your steps for Korok seeds this early in the game. There are 900 of them hahah.

 

nah I meant to find the person that will exchange some for more inventory! the breakable weapons are...an adjustment

 

been playing this again too. still goosebumps

 

you're doing the right thing by slow travel everywhere. i woudln't fast travel until you've got 75% of the shrines, unless you're going reaaally really far. there's just so much to see that retracing your steps will always uncover something new

 

I'm finally going through the champions ballad and, started a file on mastermode too. Missed this game.

 

Every time I see this thread bumped I have the strongest urge to get totally sucked back into this game

please help my noob ass

how do I find armor? anybody got any good tips?

 

there's a shop in Hateno that sells some. lot's of towns have their own armor that specifically helps with whatever divine beast you'll have to face (i.e. FlameBreaker in Goron Village, Snowquill in Rito Village, Gerudo Top/Desert Voe Spaulder in Gerudo Town, etc)

 

just loaded this up again after a ton of time spent on other things. damn i haven't played this since boxing day when i got my swtich haha.

 

I honestly found/bought most of my armor after I beat the game. It’s very useful though, especially once upgraded.

 

kinda wish DLC armor could be upgraded

 

My son has taken to finding camps of different monsters and putting on the monster masks to blend in. Then he brings them all together either to kill them or offer them raw meat

 

finally getting around to playing this.

My goodness, is it fun.

 

with all i've played and explored in this game, i still haven't encountered the Bears that i've read are around somewhere!! totally forgot about them, along with the Royal White Horse, and the Giant Horse. only recently realized that i'd never actually been to the part of the map where that lil side quest happens

 

I think I’ve only come across a bear once, it was in the area around the Rito Village.

When I caught the giant horse, I think went the hard way back to a stable because I had to go past two lynels and a bokoblin camp lol.

 

i, for whatever reason, decided to go directly PAST the Lynels, thinking; "this is surely the EASY way through"

 

wait there are bears??? i need to get back into this.

when I caught the giant horse i rode back past the lynels too, like a fool.

 

I decided to fight one, which was the first time I had ever beat one and then I took five minutes to sneak up the hill that was near the other one.

 

I spend so much of my time climbing.

It’s strange that I find that so much fun.
