what does the take a picture of your stub thing mean?

 

Some users were randomly picked and have to take a picture of their ticket stub and submit it to MoviePass before it will let you check in to the next movie.

 

^ Yeah that! I'm really not sure what it accomplishes 'cause I could still give that ticket away or go see a different movie or whatever, but yeah it doesn't cause me any problems so I'm not mad at it.

 

It just guarantees that used MoviePass to pay for the same movie that you checked in for. no 3D no special screenings

Just reserved seats for Rampage in 2 hours. Checking out a new theater while I'm hanging in NYC for the day. Love moviepass, opens new opportunities. My dumbass friend lost his moviepass card and had to pay LOL

 

I'm hoping my pass arrives sometime during the week so I can see at least one movie during the week and the another during the weekend. I'm ready to get this show on the road

 

saw A Quiet Place this afternoon with my first moviepass transaction. Liked it a lot.

 

Lol they just changed Moviepass for new subscribers. You can only see 4 movies a month now

I hope they like just changed it because I signed up Friday and that would be super lame even if it is still a pretty good deal.

 

Yeah...how new of a subscriber? My card came in a little over a week ago and I signed up April 7th. That sucks but it was only a matter of time before they instituted some limitations.

 

I think the 4 movie limit is only for the accounts that are bundled with IHeartRadio. I'm not 100% but I really hope thats the case.

 

Can we get confirmation on that before I order a pass lol.

 

Pretty sure it's just the IHeartRadio deal. If you scroll down on the main site it still says "see a new 2D movie every day in theaters"

 

Even 4 a month is worth it...I basically pay for a movie every weekend.

I’ve watched Blockers, Ready Player One, Black Panther, A Quiet Place, Isle of Dogs and The Death of Stalin all in the last week and a half.

Waiting for Back to the Future to start right now. It didn’t show up on the app though so I bought a ticket to Truth or Dare and went to a different theater.

 

Holy shit Back to the Future is playing within driving distance of me Wednesday. I'm going regardless of if my card comes in, I have managed to miss it every other time it has come back somehow I am not missing it this time.

 

How do you find if it is playing close to you?

 

i just googled "back to the future theater"...i actually have no idea if i can even use moviepass at this theater, i've never even heard of it, but i don't care. i'll pay for a ticket out of pocket, there's no way i'm missing it again, haha.

Goodrich does showings of older movies every Sunday and Wednesday. I’ve done a few (Casablanca, Airplane!, etc). They’re doing Wayne’s World next week, which I definitely want to hit up. Might do BTTF too again tbh.
