For the record the I.V. thing was cool. Even if it wasn't intentional, that's a cool thing about music, people can interpret meaning and feelings from a song that the artist never intended or conceived of.

I don't think anyone should feel like they're wrong when listening to something. If you can relate to that art and interpret it in a way that makes sense to you. Then that's fine. The art is doing its job.

But as soon as you tell someone their interpretation of something is 'wrong' and make them feel kinda silly for how THEY take in the song, you're wrong.

 

The IV thing WAS cool. There was a guy who had an annotation on Pyramids Of Salt that related it to 895 by Pianos Become The Teeth. There were a lot of coincidental similarities, actually, it was pretty cool.

 

Wasn't my intention at all, I was just taking the same tone as the same people were taking with my interpretations, cause I thought we were all havin' fun here and then all of a sudden all hell broke loose, again I refer you to my earlier post too. yall are gonna have to tell me if this thread is meant to be gently self-deprecating or super serious because I can't take all these u-turns, a man is trying to adapt to not sound like the dweeb they are, here
