When do we anticipate a single from the new record? If a June release is expected, it's got to come by the end of April...

They’re still heavily working in the studio. I’d guess we’re not looking at an early summer release.

 

not true... its crazy how fast turn around can be now. They could finish the album and have a single out in a month. or not even be done and put out the first single. It's all up to their label of course.

I abandoned that thread after I heard their first single for this album, but just went in on a whim since it’s realease day to catch the vibe in there.

Scrolled across Thrice talk and am happy I did.

Between the upright and bass clarinet (not to mention the KEYS), I can't wait to see how the guys have stretched themselves sonically on this record. Expecting great things later this year.

 

I hope Teppei sings a little bit.

 

My only concern is that this album will be overly political lyrically.

I prefer the lyrical content of M/M and before, though I do enjoy TBEITBN, I wasn’t as enthralled with it lyrically as I was musically.

I expect to be dissapointed in this regard, but at least I’m going in with those expectations. I know this is a season of historythat some of these things need to be expressed in my favorite artists’ art.

 

If the lyrics are political based, maybe it'll lead to some heaviness and rage songs
