I just listened to her new album yesterday!

Also...this week I’ve been browsing your 2018 album list along with @Larry David ’s to see what I’ve missed. I’m looking at the bolded albums first. Anyway, I’ve listened to the new Spanish Love Songs and Preoccupations albums because of that! Sone really great stuff on both of those! :)

So a super quick kid update...daycare called yesterday afternoon because my son had a fever (a little over 103 F) so my wife left work early to get him. I’m home with him today and he actually already had a doctor appointment set up for 9 AM (a routine “wellness check” that was also going to double up as his ear infection follow-up). He’s had this ear infection since March 1 and has been on three different antibiotics! I’m not sure if this current fever is related to the lingering ear infection, but I suspect so.

Anyway...he’s kind of a mess this morning and today looks to be a trying day. I hope the appointment goes well and we can hopefully get some answers.

It’s a really good one! I definitely give @Larry David all the credit there for putting it on my radar. Definitely some Menzingers vibes on it and it’s a bit Hotelier influenced at times.

3 tracks into the new Jack White album and I’m not really digging this.

The first track was alright though and reminded me of Foxy Shazam.

I’d rather listen to them.

 

Yeah...this Jack White album is probably not an album that I’ll be returning to. I’ve enjoyed his past work for the most part and have seen him in concert, but this just isn’t doing it for me ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
