So, I've given this a few listens and I'm really enjoying it. Not my favorite album by them but there's some great tracks on here. The second half of this album is definitely better than the first half.

In Motion and Hold Your Breath are fucking bangers. I listened to Hold Your Breath at the gym this morning and I for sure got a few more reps in that set. I'll be coming back to this more over the next couple days but I'm really enjoying it so far.

 

So, did we all just start working out again because of Jason?

 

i think if we hadn't heard OMT already/the sheen hadn't worn off, the disparity between the first half and the second wouldn't be so large. its there for sure but IHTSS, OMT, and bloodlust are all great.

 

It’s a fun album to headbang to, that’s for sure

Bloodlust has grown on me immensely, I think I was just too mad at the three songs before it at first to really listen fairly lol

 

it's such a cool song and i think it and "hold your breath" are the precise midpoints between the hookier and moodier songs on this

 

Still haven’t listened :(

 

There was an exclusive Emo Nite vinyl /500 last night. Anyone snag one or an extra? Would be the only one I'm missing currently...

 

notable moments of bloodlust:
-the way spencer goes higher on "alive"
-aaron at the end of the chorus
-the bridge
-everything else

I've listened about 15-20 times and it's fine but I wanna keep going back to Disambiguation

 

Not sure this will have any staying power for me. It’s not that bad of an album I guess, but it doesn’t do much to keep my interest outside of a few nice moments.

The bridge of I Gave Up is probably the best part of the album.

 

Record finally came in so I can see what all the fuss is about
