Can you link to some things about No Sleep? I honestly haven’t heard anything about them being shitty. Guess I must have missed that.

 

Are there any bigger indie labels that don’t have shitty people besides maybe RFC? Apart from them being quiet about the whole Turnover thing they’re the only label I haven’t heard stuff about.

I don’t have any links about No Sleep, it’s all people talking, but he had posted about his Ranger Rover and house being built on instagram, while not paying any royalties

Approximately six months after it blew up, he was also privately defending him within that time span. I would assume they still see royalty checks from streaming. Last I heard a big label financed the new FPS record but I never heard who

 

I mean all the bands that were popular and on no sleep left the label around the same time shouldn't be too hard to deduce why. I'm not gonna go fishing for stuff rn I'm about to go to bed but at the time it was definitely known Chris was running the label into the ground

 

Has Rise done anything?

I was randomly on the Pure Noise YT channel looking at their biggest videos. Other than TSSF which is what I was listening to/watching, all of their top videos are Front Porch Step. Like, what the fuck?!

Even bands like State Champs who are their third biggest artist is nowhere near FPS. How on earth is he so popular?

 

I like this more than I did NCTH on first listen.

Kyoto is great. I don't like the Sad & Sober song though.

Flowers Where Your Face Should Be is such a pleasure. I must be getting emotional in my older years cause I got all choked up. It might be my daughters new tattoo or something else but man that song hit me pretty hard for all kinds of reasons.

I love this band.

 

I've never heard a parent so supportive of a tattoo like that, that rules.
