Awesome mate! Did he talk about +44 at all?

Let Matt go back to Alk3 to make a new album tour etc and Mark & Travis can do another +44 album....wishful thinking I know

 

Haha. No but he came up complimenting it and said I’m one of probably 100 people that have that sweater (hyperbole I’m sure but maybe one of 100 that still wear it.) it was pretty special because maybe 15 minutes earlier we just did the wink and nod at each other. I didn’t wanna big him but we made eye contact. Then he came over on his own accord while we were waiting to meet the Easter bunny. Just super special.

 

Mark is cool, I guess, but what was the Easter bunny like!?!?

 

Mark is the best.

It was hilarious seeing my son and mark interact because my son was just telling mark about how “bunny there!” And pointing to the Easter bunny. Mark was very fun and played along. Just seeing him in full Dad mode with me was a treat.

 

That’s so awesome!

Ps I used to have that hoodie and I Miss it so much; an ex of mine used it 8 years ago and I never saw it again

 

Could be worse, one of my ex-gfs took Super Mario 64 and Banjo Kazooie and refused to give them back.

 

8 years might be long enough to make it less awkward to @ her on Twitter and be like “hey funny thing. Remember that +44 sweater?”

It did! Kinda. Not a random Disney encounter but...

 

I would love to meet Mark someday. He seems so genuinely kind and appreciative. Travis I could care less about meeting. I've met Matt when he was with Alkaline Trio, and Timmy Delingo when he was with Angels & Airwaves

 

I get anxiety when I think about having to talk to a celebrity. I met Kenny Vasoli a few months ago and was an awkward stuttering mess. All I can say is "I'm a huge fan"

 

That’s how I am. When I met Mark, Matt and Travis I had all this stuff planned I wanted to say to them; I think I got out about 15% of it, most notably telling mark how much his music influenced my life. The rest of the time I could barely talk lol

 

I usually am too, but when I met Kenny a few years ago he was super relaxed and welcoming so it made me feel a little better. He was basically standing at the entrance of the venue greeting people as they walked in. I told him I had just driven 2 hours to that tiny venue to see Vacationer and he threw his arms open for a hug.

On the other hand, I met Joey Cape the next year at the same little club, and he just got drunk and rambled for an hour after the show. haha.

 

Always been convinced Mark is the nicest guy ever when me and my friend got to hang out backstage with Fenix TX on the Bad Religion/blink tour. I fanboyed out and ran up and interrupted Mark while he was walking and talking with Skye, and he shook my hand, asked my name and signed the 4 cd booklets I brought. I have no idea what I said to him other than my name lol. Easy opportunity for someone to get pissed there and couldn't have been nicer.

 

I would love to meet Mark one day. I’ve met Dan and Matt and they were both the nicest guys ever.

 

Matt is insanely nice. When I met him he was very polite, even addressing my fiancée as m’aam every time he talked to her, and he was just really grateful. Him and Mark both were really nice

 

He didn’t seem to and I was fine with that. I could have brought it up but I just let it play out naturally. Because I had seen him I kept mulling over what I would say to him. I actually had walked at him TO say hi earlier when I first saw him but I got 2 feet away and skye was talking and I didn’t wanna interrupt so I just passed on by. They hung around for so long the wink and nod I got was enough. That he approached us completely disarmed any fears I had. I, too, am a stuttering mess. I don’t even like tom that much any more but i can’t deny his imact on my life so when I met him down in SD at the poet Anderson event I was a mess and when I saw HIM at Disneyland a couple weeks ago, I just couldn’t get up the courage to say anything. That Mark approached me instead just made it a natural conversation that HE wanted to have and I appreciated it SO much. My wife looked back at skye and jack and skyes parents while we all spoke and said she was looking and smiling. She was convinced skye probably encouraged mark to come over. I mean it was a BIG part of our day talking about what went thru his mind before approaching us. I still haven’t shared this whole story or photo on Instagram because this whole ramble wouldn’t translate well. Figured you folks here would at least appreciate. :)

Moral of the story: renew my Disneyland annual pass

 

When I was in law school one of my classmates was interning at Fuse while Mark had his show and he kept saying Mark was the biggest asshole he'd ever met. But 2 years ago I met mark and he was one of the nicest celebrities I'd ever encountered.

Don't know if that classmate was just a massive liar, or just caught Mark on a bad day.

 

I've only had a quick meet and greet opportunity with Mark. I'd love to meet him again and actually talk a little. Travis is the nicest one I've met though, by far.

 

I know reddit is the bane of existence but some of us here are in there and @bradsonemanband hosted another blink tribute record. His track fucking RULES and im on there covering Sober if anyone wants to check it out.

 

Whaaaa I wish I knew I would've totally made another Blink cover!
