"bloodlust" is badass, i guess i'm going to be one of the people who likes this record

 

"in Motion," is a top 5 Underoath song.

 

Agreed, this record has some of their best songs imo

 

man "sink with you" is a fuckin awesome song especially if you like underoath

 

and then "ihateit" kinda doesn't sound like underoath at all lol

prob the best of the outright pop choruses and i love the instrumentation/arrangement, can't figure out what it reminds me of, maybe a moodier nin song like "even deeper"?

 

"hold your breath" RULES. it's almost on the verge of being a huge pop song but they hold back and there's just this enormous tension in the chorus and it sounds soooo cool

the shlockiness of "rapture" and "wake me" is still shocking but there are so many awesome songs here that i... don't quite get the negativity

 

this is on the money, holy shit

 

"no frame" is unreal, i hope they make an album like this one day

 

it's such uncharted territory for them but in the cool way where you can feel them pushing themselves wayyy beyond their previous work

 

lol "in motion" is extremely they're only chasing safety until it gets to the chorus. it's so badass

 

every mile a mountaaaaaaaaaain

what a fun record. not really a patch on the last three underoath records but it's also totally its own cool thing

 

Gonna give this a first listen shortly!

 

i actually really like Bloodlust

 

“Hold Your Breath” and “No Frame” are the best songs IMO.

 

That vocal effect is so good.

 

acid green variant just came in. went to check in on the deluxe version order status and it looks like they switched me over to white instead of black. pretty odd.

 

I was really hoping the closer would be something different than it is. blah
