I'm sure you'll all get to hear this soon and I'm very excited for that so I'm gong to stoke flames a little more by adding some more thoughts:

    - I really, REALLY wish I had the lyrics. Sometimes it's just hard to hear what Dans saying, not because of the production or anything, it's just sometimes difficult to make out clearly.

-Speaking of, the production is ace. I'm not expert or anything but the songs already released give a very good indictation of how clear everything sounds.

-Lyrically theres a theme of how trauma affects everything you do and how distance further exacerbates that feeling. Dans wedding gets mentioned quite a bit, Flowers may as well be a sequel to You In January, but theres still this underlying darkness throughout. Dans still being haunted by the things that have been mentioned before in previous albums but this time around he almost sounds like hes made peace with a lot them. This album truly does pick up where NCTH title track left off, it sounds like Dan has finally found his "heaven" and now that the grieving process is over his looking ahead.

-I mentioned above that Nicks keys really shine throughout but the other guys get to shine as well. Josh gets some sweet bass moments (but we miss your yells Josh pls come back), Casey, Matt, and Nick hold it down with some slick guitar parts. It Must Get Lonely has an earworm of a guitar hook and The Ghosts Of Right Now has this haunting buildup of guitars near the end of its 2nd chorus/start of the bridge. it sounds like glass being shattered in a cave or something. Last but not least, Kennedy just further cements himself as one of the best drummers we have. its his restraint thats really impressive, theres more cymbal and high-hat work on here that gives a more atmospheric feel to the quiter moments.

-I've caught a few past references but I can let y'all figure those out I guess. I still think Dans a great lyricist and he only gets better over time.

    - Raining In Kyoto is the bands best opener

    BETTER THAN THERE, THERE?!?!?!
Is there a lot of back and forth vocals with Dan and Matt? I have been loving that recently. Do you have a favorite track after a few listens?

i think Matt and Dan are singing together in It Must Get Lonely but aside from that theres no back and forth or anything, just harmonies it sounds like.

I think The Ghosts Of Right Now is my favorite.

    and yes ;)

What are the prices like? Also wondering if I have to bring cash or not.

  22. Jackets were 75, shirts 25, hats and coffee 20, CDs 10, records 20, book 50. They were also selling $5 raffle tickets for a chance to win a We Look Like Lightning 7”, Orchard Park test press, and TGG limited pressing.

    They were taking cards.

I am genuinely impressed that it's been over 24 hours since they started selling it and this still hasn't leaked.

I'm starting to think it has more to do with no one having the ability to rip a CD anymore than this many people having this much integrity, tho..lol

Yeah I was thinking about that earlier. I don't have a CD player anywhere but my car so that's the only place I'd even be able to use a CD haha.

Legend has it if you attempt to rip the CD Nick Steinborn appears behind you with a katana and whispers “nothin personal, kid” before slicing your computer in half
