Made it just in time for the acoustic set earlier. So good to hear new songs and have the album now.

Those that have heard the album, how is the closer compared to past album closers since this band has had some fantastic ones and curious to how this one stacks up.

 

Never wished I lived in (or close to) Michigan before right now. Seeing people get the album makes one week feel so much longer. I was hoping I'd randomly get the book in the mail today.

 

Great question, this band always goes hard on the closers. They really set the bar unbelievably high with Funeral.

 

There's literally a band member who hangs out in this thread and people are bold enough to ask someone to leak the album.

I just don't get it.

Not for nothing, but I feel like if you are spending your night in the Sister Cities thread on chorus.fm waiting on every response trying to get a leak, you already pre-ordered the album. I certainly have. I understand Nick is here, but I think he gets that we are the people who support his band. Shame on anyone who is downloading it without purchase.

 

Sure, and then people who "already pre-ordered the album" share it with a friend who hasn't, and so on and so on.

I just can't fathom thinking it's OK to do this here, but you do you.

I get where you're coming from, but Nick actually being in this thread just makes the whole thing feel extra icky. Trust me, you'll make it and the anticipation will make it better when you do hear it. Run through their discography again or something.

 

I still haven't even listened to We Look Like Lightning. I can wait another week.
