Who Do You Play As In Mario Kart? Video Game

Obviously there are a lot of characters and the max I'm allowed to have in the poll is 10 so: Who do you use in Mario Kart? Pick 1-2.

 

I was using Luigi, but since I bought the DLC it has been Link.

 

Yoshi, and either Yoshi or Kirby in Super Smash

 

Kirby has the best troll potential in Smash. Swallow someone and jump off the stage if you know you cannot beat them fairly.

 

Kamikaze Kirby is so fun

Luigi or Toad (sometimes Bowser) if we're talking N64, but once the Koopas became available I opted for one of them

I never found much of a plus side to using heavy characters.

If you're not using the heaviest possible character you're fucking up. It's all about max speed once you hit a certain skill level.

The only caveat is if you're playing on the new(ish) 200cc mode. Then it's impossible.

 

Luigi, hence the name

 

200cc is cruel, even with the slowest kart. So much banging into walls.

But otherwise yeah, you need a max speed character to like Morton/Metal Mario etc, even then it's quite easy to win with a medium one against the CPU, even against people online if you're actually skilled at it (like I am ;) haha)
