Yeah, her set flew by. Felt like she was just really finding her groove and then it was over. Still very cool to see her in an arena setting though.

 

Pretty normal for an arena tour with 2 openers. She packs in about 8 songs, and I don't think she really does more than 16 or so usually when she headlines, so it makes sense. Of course I wish she could've kept going. She definitely could've squeezed one more in haha

 

Debating on going to this in CT. Really loved Melodrama but the prices for my date ($89 floor lower bowl front balcony / $69 rear balcony) are pretty steep. Hearing great things though, and plus I have never seen Lorde and I would love to check her off of my list.

Also - does she use any pyro / have loud bangs on this tour? I have an anxiety disorder so I have to know this stuff before going into arena shows. Thanks!

 

1) Do it!! Have you checked second hand markets? There may be some cheaper ones.
2) Definitely no pyro, I don't recall any loud bangs either - though I don't want to tell you that 100% in case I just didn't notice. There is a confetti canon, but I don't think it came with a bang. Run the Jewels I don't think had any bangs as part of their set, but some of their music hits kind of hard - something to keep in mind.

I was not impressed by Mitski at all

Lorde was incredible though and RTJ were fun obviously not the correct environment for them though. Their set also felt pretty short


Last night was very full as well

 

Mitski's last song was the only one I really liked. Run the Jewels were definitely out of their element, but I'm really excited to get to see them again soon, hopefully in a club. Lorde was incredible - easily the best set I've seen so far this year.

 

Mitski is definitely more enjoyable in a club setting

 

Yeah I figured she would be, she just didn't do anything to win over the audience I don't think. Has to be very crazy to play that size room though so I understand

Found good tickets on stubhub cheaper and better seats then what Ticketmaster had them for. Stoked.

Last night was so great. I found Mitski a bit boring, I liked them but I lost interest real fast. Probably just the wrong setting. Run the Jewels was fun, there were actually quit a few people there for them. A few people around me actually left after their set. Lorde was pretty amazing tbh. One of the best sets I've seen in awhile

 

Last night was fantastic. Lorde knows how to put on a show. And it didn’t seem empty at all.

 

I noticed they had the whole third level blocked off but other than that it was pretty packed
