Yeah AAR had mainstream hits like Give You Hell. Dirty little secret. Move along. Etc.
    HH just on alternate radio.

Not even close. HH are nothing in 2016.

Yeah, you can count on almost everyone in the audience knowing Gives You Hell and I don't even think I've heard a Hawthorne Heights song.

The AAR set will basically be a greatest hits set front to back, and it's gonna rule.

I'm actually really excited to see Hawthorne Heights for nostalgia purposes. I'm not a fan of AAR or ATL, but I wouldn't have minded seeing ADTR.

Maybe it's because I am from Ohio, but I would call HH and AAR pretty even, if not AAR only slightly bigger. I can imagine some of the older people(my age group of 25-30 year olds) knowing At LEAST Nikki FM, Saying Sorry, and some of their older singles. While their newer stuff hasn't had mainstream success I can't recall really any recent AAR stuff either since Gives You Hell. (Also side note, HHs latest EP hurt was pretty dang good, best work in a while)

Gives You Hell was a world wide hit. It was massive back in the day here in Germany. While HH, only little emo kids like myself in 2007 knew about them.

HH's biggest song on YouTube has 3 million views. AAR's biggest is 57 million, with 11 videos over 3 million that I counted quickly.

Saw AAR twice with Blink in 2012/13. Whenever they played the Big UK tour. AAR are a tight band but they just dont have enough good songs.
Saw them headline at Slam Dunk and they were pretty bad then as well, people only want to hear 3 songs and they play them at the end.

Well yea. That too. Obviously has more hits. I was just referencing the FB likes to show how seemingly aware the existing fanbase may still be.

I saw AAR this past year at Taste of Chaos and it was just a greatest hits set. Nostalgic and fun. I'm more excited to see All-Time Low. Already saw ADTR with blink last year and at ADTR's fest this year.

Yeah AAR is waaaaaaaaaay more well known than HH. Swing Swing, Dirty Little Secret, Move Along, It Ends Tonight, and Gives You Hell were all really big hits to certain degrees. All over top 40 radio and such.

Still only listened to BTD twice. Can't say it'll be the same when my birthday comes around in 2 weeks. Probably get drunk and play it all night haha.

I wouldn't be surprised if we got a music video or new song in 2 weeks or so. They definitely will release something before the album drop/tour starts (x games)

I didn't like Hawthorne Heights when they first came out, but their last EP was good!

Definitely the Ohio thing. AAR had a number of hit singles worldwide and two platinum records, one of which hit double platinum. Hawthorne Heights were far more of a niche band that were mostly stuck on alternative radio.

Speaking from a Canadian perspective, AAR received tons of air play on the biggest pop and rock radio stations coast to coast, where I have never heard a HH song on the radio, and I listened frequently during their prime.

I'm from Ohio and I don't think I could name a single person who knows of them lol. I'm like not that far from Dayton too. Like 40 mins.

  25. They have two gold records. They were definitely big for a moment. Not AAR big, but big.
