this record is going to be unreal good

 

Not a fan. It's not bad or anything but like who really wants this from her? Maybe it's just me though.

 

well, it's a sonic direction i like more than country and she's very good at this so

i truly think this album could be emotion level

 

Yeah but she's a country artist and she's extraordinarily good at that too. It's fine though, I'm not here to tell people not to like it.

 

This is a very strange statement to me. The base of this idea is that an artist should stick to what they are known for and not do anything new because of public perception.

 

but what's the need to pigeonhole her into one category rather than making boundary jumping music?

 

Oh I agree. She should of course do whatever she wants to do. I just wonder if it will appeal to her average fan is all.

 

i'd say her average fans aren't normal country fans anyways. she's already sung about things that make some country fans think she's ruining the genre

Haha, this is incredible. All 3 songs released have been absolute earworms, she is writing some absolutely flawless melodies.
