Its so obviously a work...but if they had slow-rolled the Daniel Bryan is cleared thing...they could have really played this angle up big since they got sent home from the Europe tour + KO left early from the south America tour.

And since the WWE365 of KO was as much about him being frustrated with a smaller role vs what he thought he deserved. Imagine Daniel telling him that he and Sami were in the ARMBAR instead of a singles match and they snap.

Man, the idea of 2002 Brock Lesnar being gay but it not being a major part of his character except for occasionally beating the shit out of someone for being homophobic is pretty fucking fantastic.

 

i think it works better with someone debuting like a Lesnar than having a guy like Finn come out and "play gay".

Yeah like if Fergal were comes out as gay or bi, and they lean into that with Finn's character great, awesome, props to WWE for embracing a gay character.
