Tried to buy. Won’t accept my zip code. And just making an account charged my credit card $1.34 seven times in a row. Off to a good start.

I wonder why the vinyl artwork is different. I like it but the original is hard to beat. Curious to know why they are not using it for the vinyl. Maybe they can't get the resolution high enough for it but that seems unlikely. There must be a reason tho, no? Or maybe it's just a stylistic choice/decision they made and wanted it to be different.

 

I think it's just a stylistic choice, since Ben Kehoe has done the art for all of their albums (except Cartographer).

 

I guess that's art for you. I much prefer the vinyl art. Wouldn't have ordered it if it was the other one. I don't even have a record player so it's just a display piece for me.

yea... Snowingseason always has pretty great reviews

 

They better send this to supporters today. It's snowing pretty nicely out there, would be nice to have these jams to keep me company.

 

So doesn't look like we will get this today, they posted the Sputnik review on their facebook and put this sentence at the end.

Album comes out Tuesday, so I'm gonna assume they wait as long as possible and send the downloads on Friday. I'm not too sure, but I think they're still working on some finishing touches on the B-Sides and that's why we haven't gotten this yet. They posted up an Instagram video of them recording some stuff and I believe last week they posted something about them recording B-Sides.

 

Yea! I messaged them saying I missed the indiegogo but I would PayPal them early for the extended album haha. Will see what they say. I said no pressure either way.. I want this album bad!

 

Maybe they are doing some alt versions or acoustic versions. I was hoping for a deluxe digital version on band amp or something where it all would be in one place.

 

I’d imagine it’s pretty overwhelming doing the last stages of prep for a release. Maybe that’s why they shopped for a label a bit. I’m sure they are flattered though that some of us are huge fans of their music and counting down days. They’ve been good a finding ways to get stuff out there so I’d imagine given time maybe they’ll generate that option. Even on their bandcamp they have a deal if you buy some music other music is included. I appreciate the DIY efforts from TRoW.

 

Yeah if you check his profile his tastes def align well with ours. By ours I mean you and me.

 

Keep in mind all the bands you’ve rec’d to me this week, been too busy to check them out but I would love to get back to it.

 

birdless cage is an outlier on the record imo. the rest is much darker than that song (minus colored out)

also there’s a part of worry if you want that I think is gonna surprise some people lol
