Not anymore, that was such a mentally exhausting job lol.
I think Twitter icon is being incredibly generous lol. But it is weird that now people I don’t know interact with my tweets. I tweeted the other day that my internet was down and like 4 people told me to turn my phone into a hotspot.

So with respect to our sound and what would actually make a really solid bill:

This is probably the hardest question you asked because we're an up and comer lol. Our friends in Liis are great people and make great music so it'd be a lot of fun to do more shows with them.

I think Skyline off of Love Stories has become kind of the Staircase song for me. It sums up a lot of what the Stories trilogy represents. Anna sounds incredible and I'm really proud of how we crafted the song to move like one giant wave.

I really like what I did on the new version of Ghosts we put out. We added a little bit of a drum break where the guitar solo used to be and I'm not someone who really enjoys soloing so it was fun to push myself.

Last meal would absolutely be brisket and latkes

 

Vic Firth, wood tips, non-dipped. I use the 55As to be specific. I like my snare to be somewhere in the middle tone wise, a little bit on the higher side I guess but not too tight. I like the toms to be low but without a ton of overtones. I really love what Chris Walla and Jason McGerr found on The Con.

I've been reading through some of the past AMAs so I knew what to expect from my own so I know this first answer might be controversial. The only pop tart I would be willing to consider trying with butter is the brown sugar cinnamon. Any other flavor is a hard pass. Also no to cheese on apple pie

The ending of Skyline is a work out. Actually, the last bit was inspired by what Jono does in the bridge of On The Line by The Swellers.

We desperately want to play with The Maine. Like, desperately. I think their fans would like us And we would like to watch them from side stage.

Not technically a band, but I've made a big deal out of wanting to play with Mandy Moore. Even if it's recording one song or one gig or whatever. Would also love to work with Tegan & Sara, St. Vincent, and Janelle Monae just off the top of my head.

And lemme tell you about turkeys. In a perfect world, turkey meat would grow on trees. Turkeys as an animal would not exist. On three separate occasions over the course of almost ten years I have been attacked by turkeys and I would love nothing more than for those fuckers to not exist.

My parents making brisket is always like, the holy grail of brisket to me. Basically, as long as you're cooking it for hours it'll be amazing. And latkes as in potato latkes or potato pancakes.

LA still completely overwhelms me but I really like Culver City. Lots of great bars and places to eat.
