I know that is what we are conditioned to expect, as Sharks fans, but I think we got this. If the Blues find another gear, so too will the Sharks!

 

This whole thread gives me hope for the Sharks.

 

I think the Sharks are already at their best gear but the Blues are for sure not at their best but that could be a coaching problem.

I don't know what's better about this run that the sharks are on. The fact they made the WCF or the fact that I get to hear Kenny Albert all series long.

St. Louis isn't playing bad, San Jose is just playing well.

 

NHL Network had an interesting poll earlier today about the best offseason trade prior to this year, and Kessel was the overwhelming choice (79%). Martin Jones was 3% (Bonino was 9% for comparison).

Am I the only one shocked at that disparity? My thinking is that you could argue Pitt could be where they are/somewhat close without Kessel, but Jones was clearly one of the MVPs of the Sharks team all year - playoffs included. Just think it'd be closer than a 79-3 split.

 

Tomas Hertl now has more goals than the Blues this series.

 

I think I can explain this. See, most people are very stupid, and sports fans are among one of the stupidest subsets.

 

Can't hate on the Sharks, they're playing their hearts out and it's showing. I honestly wouldn't be upset if they went on to the finals, they're a great team.

Stamkos leads top 30 potential NHL free agents

relatively weak free agency coming up this summer.

 

I could see Winnipeg going after players like Hudler or Parenteau.

 

the guys I hope the Devils focus on are Darren Helm for 3rd line C and one of Jason Demers/Alex Goligoski for 2nd pairing D

Obviously I would love one of Stamkos or Okposo, but I don't think its realistic

 

I hope the Sharks don't re-sign Spaling or Polak but I do want them to re-sign Reimer but I doubt they be able to keep him.

I also would really love one of PAP or Stempniak for the first line because the Sharks need Hertl to fully make his transition to 3rd line center.

 

Srs? This is one of the best looking classes I can remember.

 

I like Polak as our 6, with DeMelo as the 7. But, in the event we don't resign Polak, Demlo will be fine. Who do you think would come up from the Cuda to be the 7. I feel like Mueller will never pan out unfortunately.

I'm fine with letting Spaling and Nieto walk, with Timo, and Goldobin replacing them.

Keeping Reimer would be a dream, but I think he will end up in Carolina.
