I wish they would announce what shows will be special. I don’t want to buy tickets to a random date and just get the same set as always. Plus, if they advertise the show as being pre-2000 then they’ll actually have to go through with it haha

    Ok that's pretty cool

  6. I can't wait to get audio of the interview to see if that was ACTUALLY said because I HIGHLY doubt it, at this point, BUT if it is true, if they don't play "21 Days" then I will scream at a mime.

I hope it’s true as well but I’m also doubting it. Wonder a setlist would even look like

Ok, this vegas thing is kind of badass if they do it right. Saw Britney in Vegas a couple years ago and it was just a blast...only complaint, crowds at vegas shows are very much casual fans for the most part.

I doubt you'll see high energy crowds at the shows, but hopefully Blink will change up the setlist from show to show.

Just realized that in 2018 you'll be able to possibly see Blink and Gaga in the same weekend on their Vegas residencies, awesome trip idea!

Hopefully No Doubt announce their residency at Planet Hollywood soon...and then Janes Addiction and Porno for Pyros have one coming to Kind Heavaen at the Linq. Vegas residencies aren't what they used to be...and that's a good thing!

    Things have changed.

"Pre-2000" probably means more Dude Ranch, honestly. If Skiba has trouble playing "Carousel," he's not gonna be able to nail "Wasting Time" or "Touchdown Boy."

Lol Usa Today's story about the residency uses the grammy reunion for the picture with this caption:

"There goes the neighborhood: Blink-182's Mark Hoppus, left, and Travis and Barker are setting up at Las Vegas' Palms Casino and Resort starting in May."

So basically, it’s gonna be TMTATS in Vegas.
I have no issues with that.

God dammit. Mark really did say it, guys!

He said that he wants to have some shows that are just regular standard shows, and some would be oldschool deep cuts of songs pre-1999, which people would know about ahead of time.

(Although, I'd be more pumped if it was stuff up to 2001 so we could hear some TOYPAJ stuff that never gets any love---I'M LOOKIN AT YOU "EVERYTIME I LOOK FOR YOU"!!!!)

With Mark saying that people would know about the "special shows" ahead of time, that doesn't really work if tickets go on sale this Friday... because I doubt they have a solid setlist ready, ya know?

Maybe each weekend, it'll be 1 standard show, and then the next night a special show? So basically, we have to buy a ticket for both nights, to be safe? GAHHH!

I'd seriously fly out if they specify what nights are pre-2000 material.

It's crazy that despite going to Blink shows since 2001, I've only ever seen 3 pre-enema songs live. I need to make it out to that Vegas show.

Got my GA tickets for Oct 26. IMO it makes more sense to do the throwback shows on a Friday night. I just see more casual fans doing a Saturday night blink show.

  23. If they really do these pre-1999 sets, anyone else secretly hoping that Tom comes back for those? :-)

Kinda lol. I know he sucks live, but I do feel weird not having Tom there. Mark is the only person left in the band still on those albums!
