Which is my favorite stretch.

 

22 is great but it's not nearly as replayable for me. BI,BI is something I've listened to on a monthly basis since it came out, it means a lot more to me.

And the crackling on Over Soon still bothers me a fair amount. I think it's used perfectly on Stratford Apts and 8 Circle, but on Over Soon it's a turn off.

 

They’re basically tied for me tbh. Me putting BI,BI on instead was basically because it’s been out longer therefore I’ve spent more time with it.

Not that I am really invested as they are both incredible and worthy but 22 is one of the best albums ever put to wax. There is nothing like it.

I think For Emma and 22 are both great but BI,BI is easily his best.

harmlessness has no drop in quality imo. wouldn't say that whenever does either but the bar of consistency is vastly improved in harmlessness and it was already high

715 Creeks is basically this decade's Hide and Seek and I have no problem with that. Amazing song.

My first real introduction to the man who is now my favorite rapper and continually the most intriguing figure in hip hop. I was infatuated with this project and had never heard anything like it, and still haven’t.

The Hotelier - Home, Like NoPlace Is There
Oh god, this came out a few months after a bad breakup and I listened to it over and over again in my car driving to and from work. Haven’t listened to it in a long time but it’s very important to me.

The National - Trouble Will Find Me

I had listened to Honest a decent amount and I liked it, but this was the project that really made
me a huge fan. I was listening to Throw Away one night when I worked on the night shift. It was like 3 in the morning and I was sitting in my car listening, and the emotion in the second half of the song was just so genuine, delivered in such a unique way. The rest of the album just bangs front to back, and Codeine Crazy is one of my favorite Future songs. But that moment on Throw Away when Future just lets it all pour out of his heart is truly something special.

The Dangerous Summer - War Paint
Parachute has been stuck in my head lately and this is such a great album. Need to listen to it ASAP.

The Menzingers - On The Impossible Past
I mean, this is just such an important release to me and so many others on this site, I don’t think I need to go into detail. Casey, tho.

Drake - Take Care
With plenty of assistance, Drake makes an undisputed classic with a good balance of hip hop and R&B, and a good chunk of his best songs to date.

All I listened to for a few months in high school. It came out right after I got my driver’s license and a car, and I remember driving home to my house during lunch to smoke weed and barely have enough time to stop somewhere and get some food. I was an outcast and a poor student but this project made me feel like a real badass. Also I had never heard anything like it.

not too interested in writing reasons why, ive been vocal about all these albums and written everything there is for me to say about each of them several times over. just wanted to get my top 10 out there, in alphabetical order.
