Not really contradictory. Giants should take a QB at 2 or 4. If Cleveland wants to pay the price to jump up then NYG should do that and still get a QB.

Otherwise just take Saquon at 2 and be dumb.

I feel like trading up from 2 to 4 would be a ton because it's so blatantly obvious that the browns want and they have no other way to get it

Why would they jump up though? They know the NYG need a QB. They know the NYJ are taking a QB. The Browns probably wouldn't care either way because they have Hyde/Johnson. If the Giants select Barkley at 2, oh well. They're sitting there with Chubb or a good trade from another QB needy team.

 

Interested to see if the Colts have a guy that should go in the middle/bottom of the 1st that they’d grab, now that they have picks to trade up if they wanted to

Colts should take BPA at 6 then trade 2 of their 2nds to move up to get Guice IMO
