Good luck with the faucet! We don’t have much lined up for home repairs today, but we are decluttering some rooms this morning.

That’s a bummer about the weather there. It’s actually the first nice day here and is going to be almost 50 degrees, so I think we are going to take the kids to the park and walk on the trails this afternoon.

I am listening to the new Jouska ep and getting ready to drive to North Jersey to teach guitar and Ukelele. P.S I actually have no idea how to play Uke.. i just teach right out of the book.

That sounds fun! It’s only going to be around 40 here and not til mid-afternoon. 50 tomorrow though, so we’ll go enjoy the outdoors.

How close are the park and trails to you?

I always call the chords the wrong names. I call the Bb chord F all the time bc its the same shape as the F chord on guitar haha. then I'm just like ohh I meant this haha.

If you can play the guitar you can pick up ukulele pretty easily.

oh yea, its basically guitar with capo on 5 and the first 4 strings. but I still mess up teaching the class all the time haha. but I actually have some really good kids in there now, probably students that read on Uke better than I do

Ironically* they seem to fall more when wearing their helmets.

*I don’t know if I used the word “ironically” correctly, but you know what I mean.

Lovedrug’s Everything Starts Where It Ends is an overlooked/forgotten gem of this scene.

That should be nice! I can't wait for it to warm up and stay that way.

There's a ravine about 5 minutes away from us that has a park in the middle, a large cemetery on the top of the ravine, and a river that runs along the side, so there are all kinds of trails there. I like going to High Cliff State Park though, which is about 20/25 minutes away. I'm not sure which one we are going to today though

Those both sound cool. We’re fortunate that there’s a 70-acre park literally a block away, so that’s where we usually go on walks.

I used to love Lovedrug and played them a lot. I remember they played some shows with Colour Revolt. Wish i had seen those two bands together.
