Depending on how well the album does they could do probably do Alexandra Palace in London (10,000 cap) on this album cycle.

 

Are they bigger than an act like Architects there?

 

About the same size I’d say, maybe Architects are a little bigger. That’s the venue they headlined last month and I can see Parkway announcing a date there after they play Download fest this June.

I don't know a single person that likes Emmure and most people seem to hate them. Afaik, the entire band is gone with the exception of the vocalist. How do they still draw at shows?

 

Apparently their last album was surprisingly forward thinking which is more than can be said about Frankie Palmeri. Unfortunately, assholes still draw crowds.

I'll give them this: they have three of the guys from Glass Cloud, whom are extremely talented. It is sad they have to resort to playing music my 2 year old could play just to collect a paycheck.

 

to be honest, if frankie wasn't an idiot i don't think i would mind them that much. there's room in music for completely dumb breakdown shit, and i appreciate the honesty of "we just want to play heavy breakdowns for neanderthals"

 

Supposedly my venue is releasing more Slayer tickets at noon tomorrow. Fingers crossed I can snag a pair.

Its not you, it’s all the ridiculous drama from the bands there. Although, VoD is from there are they are pretty sick.

 

There are only like 30 people at this Royal Thunder show.

 

band is so fucking underrated. Mlny's voice is a force of nature.

 

Terribly underrated. They killed it. Definitely catch them live if given the chance.

 

Royal Thunder has never drawn particularly well the two times I've seen them headline. Which is sad cause they put on a great show and deserve much more praise than they get.
