Yep Sun is defo my fav Hotelier song. Fucking beast track. The vocal melody on the quieter moments is just so EIIKM... ugh

 

group vocals on "opening mail for my grandmother" are chilling

 

can't wait to (likely) have lyrics tonight when the bandcamp goes up

I wish I liked the first 5 minutes of "Sun" more, I love the ending so much.

 

I never searched out Settle the Scar cause I knew what it was going to be on this, is the bridge the biggest difference?

almost everything else is the same. few slight differences but 95% of the melodies are the same, slightly different sounding because they rerecorded it though

lol i should have realized this earlier, only four tracks i haven't heard parts of, because of seeing two deliverances live, sun videos a while ago, goodness being similar, the two prerelease tracks, and settle the scar

as expected this is a far less immediate record, going to be a massive grower, i know it now. i like to love everything about this
