I hope THQ Nordic lets Volition do a new Red Faction.

*Gives a quick intro about Halo series and working tirelessly for fans, etc etc.
*Goes to trailer
*Typical CGI intro, with voice-over by David Scully
*Drops into gameplay. It is third person, HUD appears
*It's a Division/Wildlands style RPG
*There's 25-30 seconds of gameplay
*Screen goes black
*"Coming Fall 2018"
*Show is over.


Man, I'd love the Halo universe in a great third person shooter w/ RPG mechanics and semi or fully open world.

Oh sorry forgot to mention after trailer begins it says Crystal Dynamics.

There have been hints that both Halo and Gears are getting spin-offs in different genres. I bet 343i is making Halo 6, but I think they'll hold off on that until next year. Gears spin-off is actually more likely for this year, but I'm ready for Halo NOW

 

a Division style Halo game would be horrible.

 

I think a survival horror Halo where you're a retired Marine or something who lives in an outer colony would be cool. Where the flood return with a vengenance, where they are found in new forms and whatnot.

Yeah, I think there's a lot of routes they could take with Halo and I wish they would! I just say the Division style because of the leak that it was in the works at one point.

 

I just have no interest in the Halo franchise anymore

I think I’ll always be willing to check out a new Halo game, but I hated Halo 5. I think that was the first one in the series that I actively disliked.

 

Halo 5 was very good I thought, but it had some serious flaws. MP was almost perfect. Story had some "what the fuck are you thinking?" moments.

 

I want to play the whole Halo franchise but like always BACKLOG.

 

Halo: Combat Evolved like changed my life lol. Pretty sure that came out in 6th grade. I remember beating it before class one morning

 

Halo is great because the multiplayer is great
