I have to wear light purple. I could never imagine pulling off a darker shade.

 

I love light purple, but I don't like wearing it. I think I'd almost rather wear white if I'm going light with my dress shirts. But I love bright dress shirts, too.

 

took soph back to her mom and it didn't go well for her. sometimes it feels like this isn't ever going to be easier for her and it makes me feel like absolute shit

 

I used to be very against it, but I recently bought a shirt very similar to this:

Bright is definitely the way to go. I like a darker blue dress shirt sometimes if I'm wearing khakis/khaki colored chinos, but that's about it.

I typically wear it with charcoal, light grey, or dark grey pants. Sometimes black. You could probably rock it with a navy/blue suit if you had the right tie.

I used to be a huge express fan. I still am, but they're so pricey. Most of my stuff comes from the banana republic outlet now.

 

Sometimes I think I'm dressed really well. Sometimes I think I have no idea what I'm doing haha.

 

it'll be tough i'm sure but as a kid that grew up with a similar situation, the perspective when she's an adult looking back will be invaluable and the amount of love/effort you showed will not be lost on her
